What's with the FR with blocked profiles...?

Anybody else find this a pain? I get friend requests on a regular basis, which is fine... but then about once a week I get one with no message, a blocked profile and then as a picture they'll have a cat or something???

WTH? I don't mind the no message IF I can check your profile to see if you have something in common with me but c'mon, a bit more detail please!!!

What's with the blocked profile with a photo of your cat or hamster or whatever???

    I always send out a blurb when I send a friend request, and have my profile open with pic. only common courtesy. When I am sending a request I check profile to see what we have in common, age, or weight or interest. If profile is blocked im not interested.
