WHICH diet rules to follow??

Always eat breakfast or never eat unless you're hungry?? I am hardly ever hungry til lunchtime, would I be damaging my weight loss if I skipped breakfast nearly every day? Extra info: I'm a stay at home mom so I'm not restricted by working hours and not being ABLE to eat til lunch - I can eat whenever I want. Which one would be MORE beneficial to weight loss? Please don't yell at me for being stupid, :embarassed: I'm sure there's no official answer, just your lovely opinions

Eat when you are hungry, period. You will not damage yourself by skipping breakfast (or eating right before bedtime or anything like that.)

Meal timing has no (or very little) effect on weight loss. If you don't like breakfast, don't force yourself to eat it. I tend to stick with coffee until noon--although not a complete fast because I will have some cream in the coffee--and then eat all my calories in the afternoon/evening. There are tons of other people on here who eat in a similar manner.

Breakfast food is awesome. But, it is still awesome at lunch and dinner.

    Well, firstly you're not stupid:flowerforyou:

There's a quagmire of myths and broscience out there touted as facts and for someone new to fitness and nutrition it gets very confusing.

Meal timing and frequency is purely personal preference. I lost 53 lbs while waking at 6 am and not eating until noon. What matters is how you feel. Are you staying satiated and are able to stay within your calorie limits? If yes, keep on keeping on ;)
