9 days after wisdom teeth extraction...

Hi, I got my all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed 9 days ago. They were fully grown in although my two bottom teeth were impacted. My pockets are fully open and I didn't receive stitches.. My question is that if anyone know that it's safe to eat a salad? I've been living off of organic protein shake since then and I want to eat healthy again.. I've had chicken and steak.. Even pasta. My oral surgeon suggested I can't have raw veggies and some raw fruits just because of reducing the risk of infection via food getting stuck.. I do rinse out my mouth but I'm worried that I won't be able to remove certain types of food. Please help! I'm hungry!

I'd think so, I ate bread and chocolate after I had mine out you just really need to use the syringe to clean that out. Vegetables should be much safer and easier to remove than chocolate chunks, except like broccoli because the size of the florets, just be careful if your blood clots dislodge, it'll mean weeks more of not being able to eat correctly.0

Thank you! I will try to gradually eat lettuce and have a plain salad.0

I did about a week later and had no problem, but I would double check with your dentist first!
I actually was bad four days afterwards and had a Mary Sue Pecan Nougat Easter Egg... yikes :x I'm so lucky it healed normally!0
