My 7 year old completed a 5k :D

I won't say ran it because he didn't really. Well, for the first 1/5 mile he did. I warned him not to start off running but he did anyway and completely wasted his energy. Oh well LOL. We did complete it in 59 mins 26 seconds! I'm so proud of him. He didn't whine as much as I thought he would. He had been running with me so he wasn't completely unprepared but I think he learned a good lesson about listening to Mommy and not being cocky.

    Well, I've ran with him in a stroller since he was about 2, so running has always been a part of his life. He did a 2k about a year ago and placed 1st. Now HE was disappointed when he didn't placed but I'm trying to teach him that its not about winning.
