bluetooth/wireless headphones & HRM at same time?

I have an iphone 5C. Can I use a bluetooth HRM simultaneously with bluetooth/wireless headphones?

    Should work ok, headphones usually use a protocol called A2DP which is different from the Bluetooth 4.0 that the HRM will use.

    I don't know about on the iPhone, but it works fine on my Nexus 5.

    I use an H7 BT HRM and just got a pair of Kinivo BT Headset.
    The y sorbed fine on my iPhone until I started Polar Beat App.
    Too many interruptions on the music.

    These are $25 headphones, so I'm not sure to blame BT technology, or the headphones, since this is the first pair I own.
