Easy Way To Calculate Calories Burnt?

I know I burn a lot of calories doing interval training, HIIT training, P90X training and other things, however some things I do aren't in the exercise database. How do I easily (and without shelling out hundreds of dollars) calculate the calories I burn doing a specific activity/exercise?

HRM - heart rate monitor. They have inexpensive one's at Wal-mart by Sportline for under $30. There are more expensive ones that tell you the alignment of the planets, but to start out with one Wal-mart is a good place to check.

10 cals a minute is usually a good base rate to start with (100 cals every 10 mins, and so on)

What? Man, I knew I shouldn't have gotten mine from the guy with the trench coat. I was so surprised when he flashed me, I would have bought anything. eek3.gif

Is that true?! I hadn't heard that.....I know it's weight and fitness related, too....BUT, MFP tells me that I'm burning about 415 for a 54 minutes Circuit Training work-out.....If it's 10 cals/min then I'm burning closer to 540 cals/min! Anybody have any thoughts?
