I'm upset this morning,
I've had a great friend on here for ages, been mutually supportive for a long time and have shared a few private trials and tribulations.
I was out walking all day yesterday, checkin in this morning to see a general status update from her, 'got a few things going on, gonna take a break',
I clicked her profile button to leave a supportive message, blam! 'user has deactivated her account'
gone, just like that.
& I'm upset about that, no chance to say see you soon or goodbye & thanks for being a great mate
I appreciate that everyone has a story & are on their own journey but I think of a few friends on here as real friends, & she was one, & I'll miss her greatly.

That's internet friends in general unfortunately0

Sorry Cliff, can only assume they had something going on that meant they didn't want to talk to anyone. They may come back after whatever is happening is over0

Yeah, that seems pretty abrupt, not something a friend would do.
Hopefully when she comes back, she can explain & it'll make sense.0 -
Sorry to hear that.
I do hope she comes back and can explain what happened.0 -
Or maybe she got banned and is coming back with a new account. :smokin:0

I've had that happen a couple of times too. Some of them eventually came back, they were out due to family issues, surgeries, etc. Just be happy you ere a small part of helping support them.
Also remember that true friends can be apart for years but when they meet up it was just like yesterday again!:drinker:0 -
That sucks! It's kinda like having a door slam shut, but you have no way to reach the door to even knock. Reality can be harsh, but she may not have meant to be harsh!0

thank you all for the kind responses,
she's a top lady so I don't think there's anything malicious at all about her withdrawal0 -

She may open a new account and search for you and her other friends.
Don't completely give up on her that can happen.0 -
I totally understand your sentiment. It has happened to me also and is quite disheartening. :frown:0
