Hello everyone! Any tips how to kick start my weight loss again? For a few months well around 5 months I been the same weight for (58kg) on a good day , my goal is 55 I can't seem to loose anymore ? I am working out 6 days a week and eating clean. How can I break a plateau? ?
Any tips
Also how often do you guys weigh your selves a week I sometimes get obsessed and do it every day and it changes and I get discouraged

I just went through a month long plateau and I broke it by taking two days off and eating like a pig. I didn't go too crazy, was probably more then 1500 calories over my daily limit each day. On the third day I went right back to what I was doing. By the end of that week I had lost 4 pounds.
Some people say that changing up your exercise is a good way to break a plateau, and some even say stopping your exercise for a week can help. Some also say fasting for 36 hours can reset the body as well, but I have never tried that one.
Bottom line is breaking a plateau is hard and its probably different for each person in terms of what methods work.

How long have you been in a plateau? If you're not losing, then you are not likely eating at a deficit.

If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal
If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal
Invest in a digital scale. Weigh everything that you consume. Log honestly and consistently. And have patience.
I do one official weigh in on Monday morning. But I'll check it a couple of times a week especially if I know I've had too much sodium. Weight will fluctuate from day to day or even within the day. Alot of it is water weight and is nothing to obsess over. The main thing is that it trends downward.
