Hey all!
I just finished binge eating for most of the day and feel like crap. I decided I'm done with that life so I did some searching and landed here.
Not to sound like a basket case, but I have been a compulsive eater most of my 40 years. I have always been fat. I have tried diets, but only make it a few days and quit. I never excersise, but I am on my feet most of my 8 hour work day. Work is probably the only thing keeping me from weighing a lot more.
I'm ready to try again and succeed!
I'm currently 300lbs and 5'11". I set my goal for 225 losing 2 pounds/week. I'm hoping that finding support from this community will help me succeed. I know that if I reach 225, I can go even further. Slow and steady is my plan this time...hope it works.
Looking forward to my new life. I'll take any advice/support I can get.

Welcome! You took an important first step.....just do your best and it will work out. I joined here a week ago and have found that there are some great people here that will motivate you and NEVER make you feel bad if you fall off the wagon. They give encouragement and a helping hand right back on. I have found that when I have my daily food intake in front of me and see the breakdown of what I am putting into my body, it motivates me even more!
