What have you done, or have happen to you, that made you feel awesome??

For me, here I am nearly 32yrs-old and for the first time in my life, I felt confident (fantastic in fact) about being out on a walk with my daughter in only workout shorts and a sports bra. It's was scorching hot and I thought "hey, I'll get some sun & be cooler ... Why not."

It was liberating to be honest.
So simple yet I thought, I feel good I can do this!

Oh, and I actually only ate half of a muscle brownie? I have ALWAYS been the girl that once something opens, I would have to eat it all ... And nope, just 1/2 (which 1/2 the brownie was a serving) and that was plenty. It's taken me a LONG time to learn moderation but I was proud haha

The third thing? My hubby keeps telling me how lean, fit and sexy I look. HELLO?!?!
MORE THAN ICING ON THE CAKE!!!

So how about you? Spill it!
I want to hear the awesomeness!

I saw a friend yesterday that I hadn't seen in a little while. The first thing out of his mouth was "Holy crap! You've lost weight!" It felt so awesome because nobody has really mentioned my weight loss, but I'm sure it is because they see me all the time and he doesn't.

That is so great! I have a neighbor who cheers me on like there is no tomorrow. MFP and "salads in a jar" have been game changers for me. I've switched to 90% clean eating and exercise a LOT (about 10 hours/week). I'm down 14 pounds in 7 weeks - good rate. I find that it is hard to tell because I have so much to lose. However, today, my pants nearly fell down at the grocery store because I had keys and my phone in the pockets. So I guess that means there is progress!

I met up with a friend who was on a cross country trip, and I baked a big batch of oatmeal butterscotch cookies beforehand to give to her and her fellow travelers...but the thing was, I ate ONE cookie and I was cool with it.

Then when I met her she commented that I'd lost tons of weight and she kind of held me at arm's length and said, joking around, "So this is what a healthy person looks like" haha

I'm pretty sure this is because I am more healthy looking, and leaner and fitter...yesterday I went to buy some wine and was asked to show my ID. I am 52 years old. :).

Wore a swimsuit and TOOK MY KIDS TO THE POOL and played with them!! So much fun, and now daddy isn't the only one that swims with them! First time in over 20 years in a suit...

Turned 40 on Monday, best shape of my adult life!

Yeah, the swimsuit thing is awesome, isn't it? I wouldn't ever wear one before. Now, I don't miss out on those things or worse, sit on the deck of the pool, sweating my butt off and wishing I felt good enough to put on a suit. I actually own two now and wear them!

    Congrats on your success!!!
