My name is Mike. I have used MFP in the past, but not consistently. Yesterday, I decided to become more active with MFP. I noticed from when I used the app before that I was losing weight. Not because of the app alone, but because the app made me more aware of what I was doing whether eating or exercising. Being more aware makes decisions easier to handle. Of course there is no requirment to log anything or to participate in general, but with self-dicipline and hopeful accountablility, life change is a clear possibility.

I look forward to interacting on the message boards and maybe a group or two.
