Well it's nice out, so why not grill up some meats. I recently found some really good recipes on www.mccormick.com. Tons of ideas that have low carb.

Foods though: Steak, chicken, fish, pork, bacon!!!, nuts, cheese, greek yogurt (has some carbs)

    grill it.

My diary is open and I eat a fair amount of protien...

I grill steaks, chicken, burgers, sausages, fish etc using different spices and sauces...

If it's crappy out I will eat baked salmon or saute up some shrimp with veggies

Leftovers I have chicken with cheese and avocado on flat bread or add shrimp to my scrambled eggs...and lets not forget bacon.

People always throw out bread as the reason they're overweight. I dunno, I was 365lbs at one point and I don't recall eating THAT much bread. Maybe more than I do now but it certainly wasn't the reason I was so heavy. It's not as though I'd snack on bread while I watched TV or played video games. I'd say loads of chips, cookies, and candy were bigger problems. Then throw in frying, eating fast food, and sugary drinks. Bread though? I dunno. I'm not buying it.

While i will agree that bread is not a cause of obesity, I do know that some people struggle with moderation and have trigger foods. If cutting bread helps you stay within your calorie goal, there is no reason to not try it. I know, when i cut out foods, i binge more. So i follow IIFYM.

I like low carb tortillas as bread substitute. It's got a ton of fiber but low in other carbs.

Another thing that I liked doing was learning to make high protein substitutes like what this guy makes.....

They are all easy to make and actually taste good but have good macros. I take some of his ideas and sometimes put my own spin on it as far as flavoring but basically follow his directions. I made a chocolate protein cheesecake last night that came out awesome. Also have made his version of crepes which has close to no carbs in it but tastes like it does. Amazing stuff!

This is my thead about the cheesecake I made last night by the way: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1371800-chocolate-protein-cheesecake
