From you guys' experience, the 2oz DRY serving of penne rigate pasta usually equals what after cooked? I've heard it doubles, so around 4-5 oz and I've also heard up to 1 cup (8 oz)

When I cook Angel Hair the weight doubles - When I cook Fettucini it triples. I haven't weighed Penne yet, but looking at the variation in those two I would say each is different. For a safe guestimate I would triple it since that is a fairly dense pasta.0

Sounds good. I'll just go with the 6oz then. Sounds like its somewhere within the range of 4-8oz so i'll just stick to the middle0
