Once a month thanks to TOM, I eat pretty much only ice cream. It takes cramps away and i feel better...
my mother swears it's a placebo reaction, but i have tried other things and ice cream takes away cramps within 5 min.
This month, i have lost weight with the ice cream, so no complaints. i am at the lowest i have been in months.
Is there anyone else who gets the same benefits from ice cream?

Yup! Supposedly something cold is supposed to make your uterus contract even more thereby making the cramps worse, but I just keep the tub on the table :P my body warms the ice cream I put in my mouth before it gets remotely close to that region, and my mother's argument is invalid. Ice cream is delicious.0

I recently got myself this delicious Gelato ice cream but have been limiting myself to only having 2tbsp a day.0 -

I eat a choco taco or a nestle drumstick almost daily and I've been losing weight.
I workout a lot, though.0 -
I'll eat ice cream, but I eat anything, if it fits into my daily calorie goal.0

I've had ice cream the past two days in a row and came under my calorie goals.
Having sweets makes calorie deficits easier on me.0 -
I had cherry crumb pie with ice cream after dinner, and still met my calorie goal today. It's all PORTION control, and it works!0

I could never eat just 2 tbsp.
I eat ice cream/gelato on a regular basis.
The one thing I will never live without so I'm not cutting it out now as long as it fits in my macros.
To answer the OPs question, I have never noticed this benefit as you called it.0 -
Whatever quazi-remedy floats your boat I guess..0

2 scoops MP cookies and cream protein
1 tbsp peanut butter
1/4 cup oats
1 banana
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 cups ice
1 cup water
Put that in the Vitamix...... Who needs ice cream? Fits my macros and tests better than ice cream and I have it daily.0 -
From my memory (too lazy to google evidence to back this up) eating ice cream is good for TOM in two ways:
1. dairy products helps to relieve period cramps
2. because ice cream melts at body temperature, eating it improves your mood and makes you happy
Also, have you seen the one ingredient banana ice cream recipe floating around on the internet? Basically you freeze banana slices and blend it, it turns it to healthy delicious ice cream.0
