Holiday Motivation!

Well, we made it through Thanksgiving day. Some of us did really well with exercise and food intake and others may have over-indulged for the day. I was somewhere in the middle. However, I understand that one bad day of eating doesn't have to be a deal breaker for our goals. The trick is to get back on track today and through this season. Let's all keep the mentality that w e don't have to indulge for an entire season. I am making a goal to stay on task while allowing myself to celebrate with a little extra occasionally but not every day of the holiday season. Most importantly, we have to keep our mindset in check and our attitude toward ourselves positive. If I think I can't lose weight, my mind will follow and so will my body. So ... I am going to keep telling myself that this weight loss thing is easier than I thought, that I am losing weight and feeling great, that I am happy and more alive if I feel good about myself.
Who's in? Happy Holidays! Cheers!

Nice post and yes, one day of indulgence is not going to undo everything I have done this past year, nor a reason to stop doing what has been working! The holidays and the temptations that go with it are all around now and we must practice restraint on a daily basis.0
