I hate machines especially for legs, SO what are some bodyweight or barbell leg exercises that will help with running, and getting awesome sexy leg muscles???

Squats (I LOVE curtsey squats), lunges, step-ups, good mornings (another fave of mine) I know you said you hate machines however leg press machine is a good one. Hamcurl machine is good, especially for runners who tend to neglect that part of the leg.
