Eating healthier but gaining weight?

Recently my eating habits and exercise routine have been better than ever, eating well, drinking water and working out daily. Whilst I'm maybe not doing the hour of exercise recommended I'm doing at least 20 minutes of cardio (along with extra strength too) and previously I've done none at all. Yet in the past 4 days I've gained 2lbs which is totally frustrating!

I thought it may be water retention as on Saturday I was out in the sun all day with minimum drinks and on sunday I had quite a high salt intake but I need others opinions on this because I'm getting annoyed hah!

What do you think? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks

Unless you ate 7,000 calories over maintenance in those four days the gain is temporary.

Well you know you didn't eat all them extra calories - So why stress yourself out!!

Sounds like your doing fab.......... Keep going!!

You will see results trust me...

Ps) I try and stay away from high sodium & salty stuff as it bloats me... Lots of water is great though to flush this away

Yep - sounds exactly like water retention. Keep doing what you're doing - just be sure to drink some more water. Also, don't weigh in for a week or so.
