Should I smoothie?

I am interested in starting to make smoothies. I am not sure if I want to drink my calories. I know that they can be very nutrient dense and worth it. I do drink protein shakes so if it is recommended I will try it.
I get anywhere from 30-55 grams of fiber so I eat lots of fruit and veggies now.
What are the pros and cons?
Any feedback is appreciated.

Con: if you don't have a blender, you have to buy one.
Pro: Tastes great
You decided what goes in.

I make a protein smoothie after my workout.
Like it was previously mentioned you decide what goes in it so you have control of the calories and all that.
The down side is even my 500 calorie shakes don't keep me full for a long period of time.0 -
I have one nearly every morning at this point, usually 300-400 calories and 30g+ protein. I usually put 1 or 2 single serve instant flavored coffees, whatever frozen fruit I have available, soy milk and a few ice cubes and it ends up being like a "coolata."
I used to hate the idea of drinking a meal, but post workout it's fast, tasty and convenient. I prep it the night before and it sits in the fridge overnight in the blender cup - single serve ninja attachment.0
