You're so vain

So...I have a habit of signing up for races in the hopes that while training for them I will inadvertently "get into shape". I just completed my first sprint triathlon and am doing a spartan sprint in a couple weeks. Then there's always a 5k or 10k here and there....But anyway it has come to my attention that even though I can complete these races in reasonable times I am still not where I want to be physically. I am within a healthy BMI range and I am "in shape" enough to compete in these endurance events so it's time to admit that I'm not necessarily in it for getting healthier, but looking better.

I'm so vain! I want a sweet hourglass figure to show off in my form-fitting mermaid wedding gown next year. I want my clothes to actually fit me nicely. I want to wear a bikini and not be so self-conscious. I want to be strong and fit too just need to focus on lifting now instead of cardio.

So after my training for spartan is done, I plan on following the Strong Curves routine and hopefully attaining my goal by next September.

And for the record I'm 5'-0" tall and currently weigh about 120lbs. My goal weight is 105lbs which I believe is completely healthy (in case anyone is wondering...)

So hello and sorry if this post is rambling or scattered. That's just how I roll...
