Losing weight with my Husband

So my husband and I are both a few pounds over weight and are trying to lose 10+ lbs together by diet and exercise.

Husband:
27 yrs old
5'11
220 lbs

Me:
24
5'3
150lbs

Our plan:

Eat lighter healthier meals
Exercise
Go on power walks daily
Take vitamins
Drink more water
Do the BOO Teatox
Don't eat late at night

What do you guys think of the plan and do you have any other suggestions?
