Healthy Diet to get rid of my Tinea

I have been suffering with Tinea Versicolor for 6+years.

It's not a contagious or harmful disease, but a yeast/fungus build up on the skin that appears as white spots that kind of looks like sun spots, mine appear on my chest, shoulders, back and behind my neck a little too.

It has made me so insecure to even wear strapless stuff or swimsuits.

There is no cure. I've tried it all, Selsum Blue and creams.

Nothing really helped, and the more I tried to tan outside/indoor or even use spray tans and lotions, it doesn't cover it, because those spots don't tan and when you try to tan them, they only appear more visible because the rest of your skin gets darker except for those white spots.

I have heard that a better diet helps eliminate them, by cutting out sugars, gluten, breads, starches, anything with yeast, etc.
I'm going to try this out, and I know I'll benefit from it either way, by losing those last few stubborn 10 lbs as well too.

What do you guys think? Anyone else suffer/suffered from this and got any advice for me?
Thank you!
