Hi new here. I am sick of this weight. I quit smoking 6 years ago and have put on 35 lbs. I am 5'2" and was 165 lb, which is not appealing to me.
In January I had a partial Hysterectomy removing 2 fibroid tumors. I was petrified I was going to put on more weight. And being over 40, well we have all heard the horror stories.
Anyway, about a month ago I cut down my wine intake (loved my wine) and lost 5 lbs instantly. Then I cut down carbs and started exercising more. Walking, bike riding, and swimming. I have been doing this for 2 weeks now. I am constantly fluctuating between 157 and 155 and not getting any lower then that. I must be doing something wrong.
I figured I would give this a try and see if I can make some progress. Hoping tracking my intake will be more of a success then the low carb diet.
