Strength training - Can't keep myself motivated

Hi.
Even though I'm losing weight steadily, with calorie control and at least 45 minutes of cardio (cycling, yoga), I want to also incorporate some weight lifting / strength training exercises. I do have 3 kg dumbbells.
But I just can't keep myself motivated and regular on that. Cycling I love, yoga I love! No problems there, you can see on my diary that I am regular there (except for last 2 days, I was celebrating Eid). But weight lifting, I don't know. It's not the pain, my biggest issue is the excessive hunger it causes. I don't have that with cardio. If I could beat the hunger and stop overeating after weight lifting then maybe I can get back to strength training.
Anybody have any ideas on how to overcome hunger? I already try to increase protein as much as possible. Diary is open.
Also how much time shall I allocate to weight lifting? My daily cardio is minimum 45 minutes / 1 hour.
