Anyone Else Anal About Formatting of Diary Items?

I am really crazy about my diary looking organized and gramatically neat. Meaning, i like the wording to match the label exactly. If it is spelled wrong in the database I will look until I find the correct format. I may even make a new entry.

Anyone else like that?

I am as well. And I've found that a lot of the stuff in the database is inaccurate or does not agree with the labels sitting in front of me. It also drives me nuts when I can't find something in the database. The other day I went to a restaurant and every other item on the restaurant's menu was in there except the one I ordered -.- I went a little nuts haha.

i like my diary to be as accurate as possible. i will correct if the macros aren't correct or filled out. I don't choose items that misspelled either. so ya, I guess.

i don't however like the word anal associated with my food diary - i am anal like that. ha ha

Nope -- if the label says it's 120 calories and the item I add is 120 calories, I don't care if it is in swahili. Done.

PLEASE do not make a new public entry. There are already so many duplicates in the database. Instead, edit the entry (especially if it is spelled incorrectly)/

If the entry is wrong, I will make one. Simple. Thanks though for policing the database. Your services are no longer needed.

What? First, it's more "simple" to edit an existing entry. Second, I've never policed the database. The personal attack is a nice touch. Creating new entries (aka incorrectly using the database) is why, when I look up a very common salsa brand I find 10+ results. I can't wait until MFP purges the database of items without confirmations.

Function is more important than formatting (which you can change, easily).
