Proud of Myself

I have been working out really hard all week and was going to take the day just to stretch and relax, take the family to do some window shopping. Well I had a 385 calorie breakfast and went out to Qdoba for lunch... I had a 880 calorie burrito with waaaay too much sodium. When I got home to calculate the calories, I gave up on the "day off" idea and hopped on the elliptical for 20 minutes and did Ab Ripper X and played Wii Golf and Bowling for an hour. 600ish calories burnt off later, I'm proud to say I have at the very least attempted to rectify my bad choice, something I would have NEVER done had I not started counting calories. And though I am over on my sodium I am under on just about everything else today... Celebrate with some wine....? I think so:)

Congrats to you for feeling good about yourself!

I have finally kept my promise to my wife that I would do something about my weight. I joined a gym and got me a personal trainer and so far I've been really determined. I need to lose 40 lbs. I have lost 12 on my own - 30 more to go!

By the way - a big CONGRATS on the birth of your child!

Congratulations, that is awesome! 600ish calories burned wow! I'm having some wine now... a sparkling glass of moscato, cheers! :drinker:

I agree. This website has definitely taught me more conscious about my calories. Used to grab a footlong sub from Subway for dinner plus a McDonalds breakfast set with no exercise, just sat at my study desk all day :noway:
No wonder my *kitten* is massive. lol. :grumble:
