160 Calorie Super Smoothie

I got bored of eating salad so i blended it in with fruit and it was really really good! Next time I'm going to try adding even more things to it! I've always heard you can add veggies to smoothies but I've never tried it! :D

1.0 cup Strawberries - raw and sliced
1.0 cup Mixed Berries- frozen (i use the super fruit/berry blend from costco)
1.0 banana, 1 small
0.5 cup Cucumber - With peel, raw
1.0 cup Kale or Romaine or Spinach- Raw
0.5 cup, Grated Carrot
0.33 cup, Broccoli - Raw
1 small tub fat free/sugar free flavoured yogurt (i like strawberry or blueberry)
0.5 cup, Water
Add as much ice as you like and blend

    My favorite smoothie is

2 apples, cored (leave the peel on)
    2 bananas, peeled and frozen
    1 t cinnamon
Almond milk or water until desired consistency

    Tastes like apple pie!
If you have dates, they make a great addition

That sounds great! Here are a couple of our go to smoothie recipes for you too! (I don't know how many calories they are!)

    1 avocado
2 cups spinach, or kale, or mixed greens of your choice
    3 cups almond milk, unsweetened
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 tbsp. ground cinnamon

Sometimes this is all we put in! This makes about 40 oz, so a breakfast portion for 2 (12-14oz each) and 4 6oz portions for snacks.

When we were eating fruit, we would blend up what's there, then pour half out adding 1 cup of frozen blueberries, blending well, then blending the other half. I found blueberries worked well to sort of mask the other flavors. I didn't think I was gonna like the green smoothie, I was surprised to find the cinnamon & vanilla really meld everything together. I like using mixed greens so they blend as well. It ends up with a slight nuttiness to it which is awesome. We have also played around with cocoa powder in it, coconut milk, and nut/seed butter. Here's to healthy living!

That sounds really interesting! I'll have to try it for sure! I never thought of putting avocado in a smoothie!
