ok maybe I am stupid but where do I copy and paste this thing to so i can have it:huh:

You can copy and paste it into a forum post, or you can use it as part of your forum signature. If you have a website/blog/myspace page/etc., you can also use the ticker there.

To include a ticker in your forum signature, go to "My Home", then "Settings", then choose the forum signature option and paste the code in that box.

For the AJAX stuff, I use the prototype library for a bunch of stuff. A lot of it I custom coded also. The tickers were a pain in the butt to do for some reason. They ended up taking me a LOT longer than I thought they would. I've basically been working on them for the past two months, although I definitely got distracted for a bit by taxes and a bunch of other personal stuff. Filing taxes is a gigantic pain...

Anyways, now that this feature is finally out, I've got a slew of stuff I want to add to the site that I think I can crank out pretty quickly. So hopefully there will be a bunch of new stuff soon!

Well, it's awesome, I know from experience, this stuff is a lot harder then it looks. Great job!

I upload the photo, and click "continue, and then the next page is supposed to show you your ticker so far...
but there's only the x in the box where the photo should be.
When I pick my slider and my preferences, it comes up with "page has expired"
UGH:explode:
I've done it about 5 times to no avail...

Maybe too many people doing it at once???

There might still be some kinks in it that need to be worked out. I've fixed a bunch of bugs already, but I'm sure there are more. I've also been having a lot of trouble with photo uploading lately for some reason which I'm going to look into next. For now, all I can say is keep trying and I will try to get everything fixed up ASAP.

Also, out of curiosity, what browser and operating system are you using?

No, I don't think it's you, I think there is a bug that I just can't quite figure out how to fix yet. But I'm working on it, so hang in there!

Read the headers for the codes:

One is BBcode and the other is HTML. Under neath the BBcode header it says "For forum signatures on most message boards."

Use that one.
