Plantar Fascitiis..HELP

I was told I had this and anytime I try to exercise again I cant walk for days after.
What is something I can do or something that alleviates the pain long enough for me to exercise.

Thanks in advance.

Orthotics are helpful, you should wear them all the time but definitely during your workout! I find it also helps to make sure you foam roll your legs and properly stretch so there are no tight muscles that will further agitate your feet. My brother has Plantar Fascitiis and weak knees because he is so tall, he says orthotics makes a difference as well as modifying movements like doing a sumo squat with your heels raised on a weight plate or something similar. I also have a fallen arch and orthotics and modified movement are definitely the way to go. Hopefully this helped a bit! Good luck! :)

Those are helpful. Icing helps. I bough specialized brace/socks to wear at night, which helps. I also use a topical muscle relaxant/anti-inflammatory which is pricy but works with fewer systemic side effects than taking oral medications.

    Good luck. PF sucks.

    Edited for spelling.

My mom has Plantar Fascitiis and she goes to a sports chiropractor. She says it is the best thing she could have done. She isn't healed, only been going since mid may, but now she can walk and exercise without being in pain. Your insurance or Health savings plan should cover it, i would do some research and see if it will work for you.
