Zumba on Wii

Hi, I just noticed (while shopping Black Friday sales) that there is a Zumba dance game for the Wii. I'm wondering if anyone has tried it and if they like it, or if it's anything like the real Zumba DVD's?? I'm just looking for something to mix up my work outs, and have been thinking about buying the DVD's but if I could save some money and use the Wii game, and I think my kids would use it too, I thought it may be a better purchase. But I want to make sure I'm going to get in a good work out too. I'm doing Turbo Fire right now, and just thought a few days I would add some Zumba in with it.

    I'm curious, as well....Bumpity!
  • I purchased Zumba Fitness for Wii. Just like you, I wanted to try zumba and I thought I would save money since the DVDs are more expensive!

I think the musics and choregraphies are the same as in the DVDs (since they are made by the same people...). Zumba dancing is fun, but not quite easy for a beginner like me! However, I dont mind missing a few steps since Im alone in the privacy of my home.

I would compare the game to Just Dance for Wii. They look alike, but Zumba Fitness is more about latine dances (salsa, merengue, etc.) while Just Dance features greatest dance hits of all kind (pop, disco, african, latine, etc.). Personally, I prefer Just Dance. But both games are good.

Thank you!! I do have Just Dance, and will be giving our daughter the Just Dance 2 for Christmas, so I guess I'll just keep on using them. I know I can work up a sweat when I really dance to that! LOL
