NEW HERE

I am looking for a place to get some motivation. I need to lose approx. 155lbs. I keep trying to start but during the first week i always quit. So far i have five days. I started walking and working myself to see if i can run. I have never been a runner. For those who have been doing this for while. How can i start? and keep my self motivated.

    you should have a target.For example you go out and you see a tree you have to say ''let's run to the tree''.After that put another target,the supermarket or something like this and keep doing it until you get tired.The next time try running for a little bit more.As you are new have breaks of walking if you get too tired.I hope that helps :wink:

    Im the same with running. I cant do it! My issue is I have quite a large chest and it actually hurts when I run, even when I have a sports bra on!

    I would like to be able to run/jog so I am working at the gym to build up my stamina on the cross trainers and tredmill. I do a brisk pace and i am going to increase it slightly. I do have a Couch to 5K app which is really good. You just run for something like 60 seconds at a time broken up with walking for 90 seconds. That may be a good place to start
