So I drink a fair amount of shakes, and I'm always experimenting. Usually if I do one for breakfast its focus is nutrients instead of taste. My post workout shakes are where I go for taste though.
I've been doing two scoops chocolate whey protein, half a frozen banana, and one T almond butter lately. Yesterday I found some chocolate covered espresso beans in the cupboard. Threw a half dozen or so in there, it was like a delicious milkshake or frappucino.
If you do a chocolate based shake, give this a try, you won't be disappointed. For those of you freaking about about eating the chocolate the specs on a half dozen dark chocolate covered beans is negligible. 50 calories tops.
