Starting off workouts?

What are some good beginners work outs or exercises you guys do? Wanna start but don't wanna jump in too deep lol.

Thanks in advance :)

I'm 5'4" and weigh 206 lbs. I just met with a personal trainer and here is what he set me up with:

Kettlebell Swings: 3 sets of 20 at 15 lbs
Wall Ball: 3 sets of 12 (you throw up a medicine ball and squat when catching it)
Alternate Crunch: 2 sets of 20
Bosu Crunch: 2 sets of 20
Step Ups: 2 sets of 20
Planks: 2 sets for 20 secs
Bicep curl and shoulder press: 2 sets of 10
Summit Trainer: 3 mins (Kind of like a stair climber and an elliptical)

I started at the gym 2 1/2 weeks ago. For the first 2 weeks, I just did cardio. (Walking on the treadmill, elliptical machine and stationary bike.) I met with the trainer this week and he gave me the above routine to do 3 times per week. He said it would slim me down faster because it's full body. I'm sure there's lots of other things you can do but thought I'd share what I was given. Good luck!

Swimming is an excellent way to start. My suggestion is to not go too hard at anything when you start. You want to have goals... to strive to achieve more as time goes on. But, give yourself a beak to start. Test out any new exercises to see how you tolerate them, and how you like them.
