Bronchitis and strength training

So I've just been to the doctor and been diagnosed with bronchitis. I have been getting so much stronger and seeing a ton of progress in my body the past couple of weeks and I don't want to stop training. Ok so I obviously stopped with cardio, but can I still strength train? Stuff like squats, lunges, crunches, push ups, v-ups, bicep curls. You probably get the picture lol, anyways, can I still do these things? And also, will it make me get sicker or take longer to get fully recovered? Or do I just rest for a few days instead? Will resting longer than usual make me weaker or not? Lol sorrry for all the q's i'm just really freaking out a bit here.
