Ladies on HRT estrogen only

Just curious if this has affected your weight loss? The drs tried to take me off of this 8 years ago, but after 3 yrs, I had to go back on it. During those 3 yrs, I had 41 lbs just fall off. Its been 5 yrs now, I have gained back 21 lbs and it seems like I cant lose a pound. The drs have suggested I try again to get off of them, just wondering at 50, have any of you ladies stopped taking them and did you notice a difference? Or is this just age that I am fighting against.?
