Water weight not coming off

Hey guys! So I started lifting and cutting back in January and lost about 6 pounds, including water weight. When it came around to finals at my university I stopped lifting though still continued cutting but eventually went back to maintenance. The first thing I noticed was I put back on a few lbs of water weight within a short time of maintenance which didn't bother me.
Now I am back on track and currently in week four of my lifting routine. My problem is I'm now up to 135/136 ( I was down to 129 back in April) and I know you retain water from lifting and starting a new workout but it just doesn't seem to be dropping like it did last time! Maybe it's just too soon? My food diary is on sparkpeople but my carbs are between 150-180g, protein 100-130g, fats around 40g, sodium between 1400 and 1800 (too high?) and total calories 1450 on off days 1550 on.

The sodium is pretty high imo. I drink about 2.5-3 Liters and don't have issues with water since ever since I lowered my sodium and increased my water intake. Also, your calories seem pretty low so that could be a part of the problem too.0

Sometimes my sodium goes over 3000. I just drink a ridiculous amount of water on those days.0

The max amount of sodium the average person should have in a day is 2300mg...which is equivalent to about a tsp. Try drinking lots of water, this tricks your body into losing some fluids.0

True I drink a lot of water and try to get lots of potassium to even it out but I'll see if I can lower it more. I'm only 5'3 so my tdee is around 1850 so I think my calories are okay but correct me if I wrong0

my water weight has been with me for years...I become to believe they are part of my fat now.0

Another way to lose water retention fast is to lower your sodium intake to below 1000mg/day. This should help you for sure.0

I think its a low intake because you're exercising too thats all0

Even with no cardio just strength training?0
