    El pollo Loco
    In N Out
  • Some of the things on the Chipotle menu are low calorie and pretty healthy. The chicken tacos are a good option but stay away from the burritos which are loaded with calories.

This has been helpful for when I get a fast food craving. That or I browse the menus online. Some places like Subway, Chipotle and others also have a meal builder thing and you can see how many calories are in what and what the total outcome will be. :D

Pretty much the only "fast food" I eat regularly is Chipotle. The bowls are great if going low-carb, but even the burritos at 1k calories are loaded and filling if you can fit them in your macros.

Subway and Wendy's are two that I go to occasionally.

I like that I can check the nutrition information online and decide ahead of time what I'll be ordering. Subway has a 'build your meal' thing so I can get a proper calorie count.

Loving Wendy's Asian Cashew Chicken Salad this summer.

"Healthy" is relative, so I will need you to be more specific.
  • Subway

Salad bowl, triple oven roasted meat, avocado, no cheese, spinach instead of lettuce, all the salads including chilli, no sauce, no salt just the pepper :)

Whole Foods has a buffet. Can be a bit pricey but pretty darn good.

Panera - good healthy soup/salad/sandwiches. List all calories and nutrition on their website. They use hormone free chicken. Lots of good stuff.

Wendy's chili, Wendy's Asian chicken salad
Chick fil a soup and salad meal with diet lemonade
In my opinion most Chinese non fried non sweet stir frys minus the rice are pretty good and only around 660 calories. Just leave the sauce on the plate.

Taco bells fresco menus particularly the new protein power up, I have trouble hitting my protein macros and its set at 50/30/20 its gonna be real rough when I'm cleared to lift. I also do the grilled chicken snack wraps at McDonald's and Wendy's with the apples yum.

"Healthy" - conducive to good health. There is really no need for specifics, other people seem to be handling it just fine.

Depends on what is in your area. Google the chains around you, look at their nutritional facts and...voila!

I like panera and noodles and company, they have calorie counts, smaller portions, protein, and veggies!

Healthy, when speaking of diet, is ensuring that you are consuming adequate levels of macro and micronutrients. For example; Most people would consider a garden salad healthy, right? What about three garden salads per day for six months? Suddenly not so healthy.

So what I was asking you is do you need to focus on more protein? Dietary fat? Micronutrients? Fiber? Or just something low calorie with some green things in it for appearance to make you feel like it is healthy?

El Pollo Loco Ultimate Double Chicken Salad with 2 packets of Light Cilantro Dressing is a lot of food and low in calories for a fast food place...if you say no tortilla strips and cheese then it's even less. Not to mention its DELICIOUS! My other go to fast food is the Southwest Chicken Salad at Togos. I order it again with no cheese or tortilla strips and usually will add veggies like cucumber, onion and banana peppers. The dressing that comes with the salad is way to many calories for me so I usually go with their Cesar dressing instead. Both salads are delicious and feel like a cheat meal!

Subway has a ton of good options. Just ask Jared.

Also, Taco Bell. Lots of good stuff if you don't mind the sodium.

Most burger places will have a small burger or grilled chicken and a side salad.

Arby's has a bunch of options that are smaller roast beefs, or ham or turkey based.

Wherever you go, watch out for turkey burgers. Most of the time those are not white meat, and they have more calories and fat than regular beef burgers.
