Calorie Cycling

Does anybody know about Calorie Cycling? I've been working out about 6 days a week (3 days doing Body Pump at the gym, aka "strength training" and 3 days running per week). I have my intake set at 1800 calories per day to lose 1.5 pounds a week, but I often have a deficit of about 600 calories per day after excerise.

Does calorie cycling work? Does anybody do it?
