Losing weight with PCOS

I have the hardest time losing weight. I can usually lose a few pounds here and there but eventually it will come back, plus more. I went to the doctor yesterday and he is giving me some medication to help. What are some things I can do to help lose weight?

Eat less and move more. It really comes down to that.

I have PCOS and really have never felt like weight loss was more difficult because of it. I'd say just figure out your calorie goal, find some exercise you like, and stick with it, long term.

    ^ same here

Birth control made me initially lose weight, but I gained it back over 2 years but my weight has stayed steady since then for 6 years. Could help if you aren't already taking it.

There are so many different forms of pcos in women. I'm like you and every pound after the first ten is a battle and I get burned out after fighting for the next 15 that I have never kept up and end up aging it back plus more. This time I'm going to try keeping within those macros, it's hard when we're living below poverty with no assistance right now, but doing my best! I also have insulin resistance which I think is a huge part of my struggle.
