Upper Back DOMS

Hey all,

Just wondering, does anyone else feel DOMS more acutely in their lats/upper back? And if so, how do you help to alleviate it? I generally suffer from mild muscle soreness after lifting in my entire body, but it's easy for me to cope with soreness in my legs, arms, and butt. I can even deal with the problem of sitting on the toilet or going up/down stairs after a big leg day. But I just CAN'T DEAL with upper back DOMS. It's so distracting and uncomfortable that I have trouble focusing at work. I've tried heating pads, eating more potassium, hot showers, etc. Thoughts?

    DOMS happens.

Arms day yesterday for me, so everything north of the wedding tackle is sore. What do you do to resolve it? Lift more, eventually you'll be conditioned enough that it won't be so bad.

It's the price we pay for being undertrained. :)

Switch to full-body workouts and you'll get less sore.
