the love of Holiday food and its woes

It seems, no matter what you believe in, the winter is a time of celebrating and being with family and.........FOOD!

being a Winter baby, myself (Decemeber 21, winter solstice, yule), i LOVE holiday time foods. egg nog, cookies, ginger bread, glogg, pumpkin pie, peppermint ice cream. and i DONT want to deny myself my favorite foods. but its SO hard for me moderate when there's an entire plate of fresh baked cookies (that, yes, i made) just SITTING there.

how do other people who LOVE, ADORE, CRAVE, and HAVE TO HAVE holiday foods, deal with this, or plan on dealing with this? i cant NOT bake over the holidays (its what i do), and i'm not going to NOT eat any of these things. i just want some moderation help! thanks in advance!

Maybe try altering some of your recipies to be a bit healthier to start. Then add an extra workout in there each day! Even if you only do 10 mins of extra exercise a day, it will still add up!
  • You need willpower by the sounds of it love!! Good luck!
