Weigh in question

I'm not a big fan of water but I'm doing my best to drink up my required amount. I have discovered water infusions and I love them.
Thing is that for accuracy purposes I'm not sure if I should weigh in the fruit going into the infusions?
I usually mash them a bit, so I get bits of pulp in it.
Not really wanting to use those instant packets to increase my intake, plus fresh fruit is very cheap and incredibly convenient to get here.
ETA: Do you know if I can change the measurement from cups to liters? It is bugging me.
