In search of some friends to help keep me motivated

I'm a 26yr old female, in search of some friends to help keep me motivated.

I injured my back a two years and due to the pain have not been very active. I have tried going to the doctor and chiropractor many times with no luck. The chiropractor only relieves my back pain temporarily and can get pretty expensive and the doctor prescribed me pain pills that I have recently stopped taking due to being drowsy all the time. I'm tired of my back pain controlling my life and I'm ready to do something about it to help myself. My goal is to lose about 30-35lbs and work on straightening my lower back to better help support my lower back.

I'm going to start off with walking 30mins a day and once I start getting my energy back walk for longer periods and eventually join a gym.

I'd like to find some friends to help with diet ideas. Foods and drinks that's are easy to make and are good for you. :)

Hi There, My name is Yolonda Toombs. .Having people pushing and keeping you motivated is so helpful to success. MFP is also a good way to have people support you along the way. I am on my journey as well still have some more weight to lose and definitely have to tone up all over. I actually am a part of a motivational group on FB. We are all on a journey doing different workouts and we push post and encourage each other to keep going. If you want to join we'd be glad to have you :)

I have had sciatica problems for a number of years, so I think I know how you feel (at least a little). I also had ankle surgery last year which really did a number on my fitness goals. I found nothing will heal unless we heal it.
