Encouraging Healthy Habits

I have a two year old already showing interest in exercise because of husband and I. While lifting weights he picks up a couple 2.5lb powerblock inserts and mimics movements. Even on the jogging trail he has started wanting out of the stroller so he can run next to Dada. It is of course for maybe only 5 minutes but it is just so super kawaii!
Another thing.. I was looking at a pack of cookies at the store and he put it back saying "Don't need that."
Anyone else finding their "healthy habits" rubbing off on their kids?

For years my son has been able to choose his own breakfast cereal based on the criteria that it shouldn't have too much sugar per serving. I can't remember what our cut off number was ---but he knew it and could even suggest mixes...we haven't eaten plain fruity pebble or coco pebbles in this house for years---we mix it with rice crispies to lower the sugar content.
It is so nice when you can see your healthy choices becoming the "norm" for your children!!! SUCCESS!0 -

I hope your habit of using the term "kawaii" doesn't rub off on your poor kid.0
