Hi! I just signed up today, tho my weight loss journey began about 3 months ago. I've been weight training at Curves and wanted to enter that work out info into my profile, but no matter what I punch in, NOTHING comes up! HELP! I currently burn between 350-420 calories while there; so it should have an impact on my overall numbers. HOW DO I ENTER MY WEIGHT TRAINING EXERCISE ON THIS SITE??

I created an exercise under cardio called "strength training/ time and calories" and enter how long I do it and what my HRM says I burned.

It's a quirk to the site... only exercises listed under cardio show up with a calorie burn. I think the weight section is more for tracking progress than anything else. I'd look under the cardio exercises and find what most closely approximates what you're doing, and adjust the time on that based on what you know you're burning. Circuit training seems to be the closest from what I've found...

The MFP database has an entry for Pilates under cadio. If you enter the time that you spent doing circuit training, it will give you the calories that you burnt. If you use the Curve Smart system, their computer will give you the calories burnts, or you can use and HRM.

Be aware that Curves Smart or the MFP database don't take into consideration the aerobic exercise that you do in the "resting stations." This systems only count the workout done with the equipment.

The MFP database also has an entry for Strenght training/weight lifting, just enter the time and it will give your the calories.
