During July 2014 I lost 16 lbs. limiting Calories and Moderate Cardio Exercise. Don't understand why weight training does not earn Calories though? Diabetes Humalog prescribed 18 units p/day. My usage has diminished to near zero. Long acting Lantus has been reduced from 18 units p/day to 14 units. BG now averaging around 105.

Wow that's great progress! Congrats! I also joined in July (but only for two weeks) I lost 7Ibs doing cardio and lifting weights. Which, is too much weight lost too fast I think. I totally agree with you. MFP doesn't give the calorie approximation for strength training. Which is weird for me because I lift 3 times a week0
