Slow weight loss 1800 a day and working out

Hi,

I am 5 ft 8, 150 pounds and want to go down to 130. However, I am extremely hungr when I eat everything below 1800. I think my maintainance with the exercise I do is around 2200 on this weight. I decided to set a total calorie limit for one year of 1800-1900 calories (I used scoobysworkshop). The weight loss will practically come down only from the exercise I do (3-5 times a week cardio, I decided to add some weights also after you guys advised me to do so). I expect to lose around 20-25 pounds for a year if I stick to this.

Today is my "first day", although I am eating extremely clean for around 3 years. I cant remember the last time I ate bread or chocolate (maybe 2 years ago).

If you are eating a bit more than 1600 calories a day and you have the same mindset of slow weight loss, please feel free to add me :) I think it will be interesting to follow each other, since I am really dedicated, once I determine to change a habit.

    OOOo me mee!

I'm hungry at anything less than 17-1800 cal or so.

    I'm 5' tall, 45 yrs old & CW is 126, my GW is 110.

I'm able to maintain 126-128#'s at about 2000-2200 cal per day.

friend request comin' your way

I'm using the calculator & info at this site http://calorieline.com/tools/tdee that had been recommended by another MFP user.

My method was to find the maintenance calories for my goal weight (110) and eat at that level. Don't give a rat's @ss how long it takes me either

My other option is to eat ~1400 cal per day for the next 3-4 months :noway:

Trying to make this a long term thing & this seems more reasonable to me.
    :drinker:
