Am I losing at a good pace?

Hello, it has taken me 4 months to lose 18 pounds. Which I think is a good accomplishment until I think if I was losing 2 pounds a week in 4 months I should have lost 32 pounds. I am 22 at 5 1' sw 171 cw152. Not sure how much of the weight I may have lost is water weight.. Now I havent been logging in my calorie intake. I used to do it when I first joined earlier this year but I found that it was just stressing me out and made me feel like I was constantly dieting. So instead with each meal I make better choices, whether its smaller portions or more salad as opposed to carbs. Everyday I try to be active in one way or another long walks, running, hiit, hiking, swimming, rollerblading, everything and anything.
So I guess my question is whether Ive been losing at a good pace or if I should go back to trying to count my calorie intake and burnt?

That's a pound per week. Sounds pretty good to me. Now that you're lighter, though, you might only want to shoot for half a pound per week. It gets a lot tougher once you're closer to a normal weight for your height.0

I lost 12 pounds in three months. I think slow is good because that means you're still losing weight and not just yo-yoing. Like I know someone who loses the same 5 pounds every month and I think it's better to go slow and keep it off, then to lose fast and then gain it back and do that over and over again0

Okay yeah thats right, so far what I have been doing has worked for me. I may have to start counting calories in my last 10 pounds or so but until then Ill continue what Im doing. I still have another 20lbs to lose at least. my GW is about 130-1250

That's a perfectly legitimate weight loss rate target.
If you want to be losing faster, you'll probably have to log rigorously. But since you hate logging, just do what you are doing and have patience for the results. It's a trade-off between which is more unpleasant to you--waiting longer for results, or logging on a daily basis.
It's working fine just the way you are doing it now. Why mess with success?0
