....and yes, you will most certainly like Cowboy Bebop, I haven't met an anime fan that hasn't thus far. You should check out Samurai Champloo too (by the same guy, Shinichiro Watanabe) it's also amazing.

I'm currently reading Fruits Basket, Junjo Romantica and Peace maker.

FLCL is definitely in my top five. I LOVEEEE The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, I was wondering if anyone was going to mention it. It's seriously too funny!

I have a ton of the "comics" of Evangelion, I love them so much I have them in sleeves to keep them in mint condition. I also love the manga for FLCL though I don't know which I like more, the manga or the anime. I have some of the Cowboy Bebop manga but I definitely prefer the anime - it's impossible not to like it more when you factor in the INCREDIBLE soundtrack.

I'm not ashamed to admit that Sailor Moon is one of my all-time favorites - I read the entire manga and watched the entire series (more then once). It holds a special place in my heart since it was my first anime.

Serial Experiments Lain is amazing, love Trigun (it's on Netflix instant queue now! Score!)... uhm, others off the top of my head would be Lupin the Third, Case Closed and Big O.

Movie wise, a great anime thriller is Perfect Blue. Definitely one of my favorite anime movies, though of course Miyazaki is the lord of anime films.

Here's something you guys might crack up at, I have every issue of Shojo Beat from inception through 2007. thats about 3 years. :P thats where I learned about sooo many fantastic anime! like Skip Beat! and NANA and ended up reading reviews about the movie Kamikaze Girls! oooh hands down one of my faves.

YESH! Someone else on here watches Soul Eater too! I have a bad obsession with Stein, lol. I even requested my boyfriend to buy me a Stein keychain for my birthday :P I absolutely loved that anime. I think it's part of my top 3.

As you can tell, I became an anime fan when there was still a Toonami , before Tom ever got upgraded, and the last (good) season of Digimon (I think it was the 3rd) made me bawl my eyes out when it showed everyone grown with lil' tykes running around. And I even saw the first Pokemon movie in theaters. Washu was my idol from Tenchi Muyo and I still use her name sometimes as a username. I would also leave my significant other if Trunks from DBZ, Alucard from Hellsing, Stein from Soul Eater, Folken from Escaflowne, Spike from Cowboy Bebop, Gene from Outlaw Star, Lelouch from Code Geass, or Nicholas D. Wolfwood from Trigun showed up @ our doorstep.
