How many calories for an hour shoveling snow?

    I think this would vary wildly between individuals. If you're really going at it, to where your clothes are wet with sweat, you're out of breath, and can't really hold a conversation, I would consider that a really intense workout. If you're joking around, working leisurely, stopping for the occasional snowball fight, etc., then I don't think the calories burned would be nearly as high.

    YAY for snow!! All I'm getting today is RAIN.
