We are very basic and no frills at our house, despite a (shared) huge love of cooking and baking. So I'd say my favorite is the little Hamilton Beach Commercial 4 cup coffee maker. I think we paid about three bucks for it in a thrift store while dating so my husband could have his own coffee maker at my place. They had a ton of them after a local hotel replaced their in-room coffee makers. After we got married, I sold my Keurig because I vastly prefer coffee brewed in this thing :-)

Dishwasher. I've only had one since we moved last year and it's the most awesome thing ever.

How I would love a dishwasher...

My cutting board gets used every single day, along with a really great sharp chef's knife. Without these two items, I fear I would be lost.

Cast Iron. Bought my first cast iron skillet a few years ago. Have since replaced all my skillets, pot, pans and baking dishes with Cast Iron.
